Jay began his career in the electrical industry in 1998, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of contractors and projects, including running his own contracting firm. Trained through SLCC and OWATC, he earned his Journeyman Electrician license in 2002 and Master Electrician license in 2004, with extensive experience across industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities ranging from power plants and hospitals to schools, airports, and places of worship. In 2018, he transitioned into the design side of the industry, where he applies decades of field experience to deliver well-designed, efficient solutions. He remains passionate about solving complex challenges and continues to find excitement in the ever-evolving world of electrical design.
