South Summit Recreation Center

Project Summary

The project included comprehensive mechanical, plumbing, aquatic, and electrical upgrades designed specifically for the demanding natatorium environment. Specialized HVAC and energy recovery systems were installed to manage humidity, prevent condensation, improve indoor air quality, and reduce operating costs. The pool systems were expanded and modernized with advanced filtration and chlorination, supporting a new six-lane competition pool, multi-use leisure pool, and therapeutic hot-water spa. Electrical improvements included a complete natatorium lighting replacement with high-efficiency, moisture-resistant fixtures, along with heavy-duty electrical upgrades designed for high-moisture and chemical areas.
