Project Summary

The building’s lighting interacts with native timber architecture, high mountain ceilings, and blue-and-white stained-glass art created by Japanese-born glass artist Jun Kaneko. The lighting design included general illumination integrated into unique wood ceilings, often from high elevations, accent lighting for wall displays and art, and custom ceremonial light fixtures designed by Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf directly integrated into the sacred space, including the Menorah, the Kaddish Chandelier, and The Eternal Light. The lighting for this project was designed to meet early LEED standards.
