Higher Education
The lighting for this project helps define spaces within the student center for various programming needs. Within the expansive facility, the center provides space for social impact, events, dining, performance, and more, all with a focus on integrating into various ceilings, highlighting special finishes, all with playful decorative pendants.
Government
This project was designed within a bustling compact urban site adjacent to a large-scale transit hub. The goal was to develop modest lighting design for aa modern central space for the police department to express transparency and accountability for the community. A major focus was safety for employees and visitors with a biophilic design for semi-private staff spaces, and quiet areas for decompressing, and counseling. The soft lighting was designed throughout to lower stress levels and provide a safe and comfortable space for victims. The project maximizes the use of natural daylight and views of the Wasatch Front and Oquirrh mountains.
Commercial
The lighting for this modern workspace with vast views of the valley was integrated into the undulating ceilings in the lobby and conference rooms and designed to mimic the surrounding mountain ranges. The recessed linear and suspended linear pendant lighting was selected with excellent glare controlled optic technology to aid occupants' focus and eliminate destractions. The space also utilizes daylight harvesting and highly efficacious luminaires.
Healthcare
The lighting for this project includes a combination of recessed linear luminaires, downlights, decorative pendants, and niche lighting all designed to provide uniform general illumination with easy to clean surfaces. The lighting for various spaces included exterior facade and walkways, main entry lobby, cafe, rehabilitation gym, nurse stations, and patient rooms.
