Vision & Mood

Performance & Verification
We pair design intuition with photometrics, mock-ups and technical review to confirm light levels, glare control, color quality and overall performance.
Coordination & Integration
Lighting is coordinated with ceilings, finishes, controls, millwork, furniture and building systems so it feels intentional and works seamlessly within the architecture.
Fine-Tuning & Completion
We stay engaged through construction, aiming, dimming and commissioning so the installed lighting reflects the original design intent at project closeout.

Deliverables
Design Charrettes
Early collaboration ensures we capture the design vision and carry it through the entire design process. This effort will capture the mood, feel, flow and ensure we reveal the architectural features, finishes, materials, colors, and overall cultivation.
Luminaire Layouts & Specification
Once we've aligned our efforts for the culture of the space, we'll work to define the lighting for interior and exterior areas with careful luminaire placement and details collaborating with ceiling types, paint colors & wall materials, flooring finishes, and built-in millwork & furniture. Following this effort, we'll carefully select quality, reliable, long-lasting lighting systems that meet the overall project budget.
Photometric Calculations
Our team of lighting designers are well-versed in a variety of reputable lighting software programs to ensure we provide adequate light levels throughout the project. We provide photometric plots as needed for Site Submittals, and various spaces with critical lighting needs.
Renderings
We work closely with the architectural designers to provide renderings that show realistic illumination in the space and can include both Daylight & Electric Light to reveal the design intent.
Mock-Ups
We work closely with our local lighting rep agency partners in each city to acquire light fixture samples, and organize mock-ups as needed during the design process and value-engineering efforts.
Fine-Tuning & Aiming
We visit the project during the end of the construction phase to assist the installers to aim, dim, and fine-tune the lighting system. We also ensure the lighting controls are commissioned and working as intended before final closeout of the project.
