Olympus High School

Project Summary

VBFA provided mechanical and plumbing design for the new Olympus High School. The project aimed to update and modernize the school’s facilities while preserving its historic architectural elements. The new three-story building houses classrooms, science labs, art rooms, and administrative offices. The existing gymnasium was also renovated and expanded, with a new weight room and fitness center added. The project also included a new performing arts center, a new cafeteria, and a new library/media center.

The school now has state-of-the-art technology and energy-efficient features, including solar panels, LED lighting, and a high-performance building envelope. The outdoor areas were also upgraded with new landscaping, sports fields, and parking lots.

The project was completed on time and within budget, providing the students and staff of Olympus High School with a modern and inspiring learning environment that meets the needs of a 21st-century education. The project has won several awards for its design, sustainability, and community engagement.
