The Daines Concert Hall at Utah State University’s Caine College of the Arts and Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center underwent an extensive renovation and addition to provide an improved experience for patrons. VBFA provided mechanical and plumbing design for the project, which included HVAC systems improvements, addition of a fire sprinkler system, a new acoustical shell, reconfigured walls, upgraded audio and lighting, new seating, structural modifications, improved ADA access, and the addition of dressing room suites. The mechanical ductwork increased in size to ensure the system would be noiseless as well as maintain occupant comfort. The project also included the expansion and renovation of the Morgan Theatre Scene and Costume Shop.
