As VBFA’s resident laboratory design expert, Don’s experience encompasses a variety of projects including hospitals, research facilities, educational facilities, office buildings and stand-alone laboratories. All of these projects have complex and diverse systems requiring high attention to detail. Don’s designs include some of the most energy-efficient lab systems possible including energy recovery, four-stage cooling including direct and indirect evaporative cooling, wastewater reuse, solar domestic water heating and more.
